The Backerkit pledge manager for Dungeon Date Mini-Expansions is closing! Final notice to lock orders has been sent, and final notice for charging cards will follow shortly. Playtesting and layout are complete. Here's a summary of the status of the project:
We had some alignment issues with our print proof (you can see below). This is our first time using this manufacturer and had a bit of learning curve with their box templates. It took us a couple of tries to get it right, and unfortunately each new proof required two weeks to print and ship to our office. The good news is that we finally got it right! Once shipping fees have been collected, we will submit the mini-expansions for the full print run.
It will take 4-6 weeks for manufacturing to complete, so we are most likely shipping in April. I will update again when we are ready to start shipping. Thanks again for supporting the project, we will have the mini-expansions into your hands soon!!!

January has been a tumultuous month, but progress continues on the Dungeon Date Mini-Expansions! The good news -- we completed a bunch of tasks in the last month, including all artwork for Boss Monsters and Potions, initial layout, a print proof, and a ton of playtesting. The less-good news -- we found some gameplay that we weren't 100% happy with that will require additional playtesting, which has pushed the project timeline back a bit. We are now looking at project fulfillment in MARCH rather than February. Thanks for bearing with the delay, I think it will be worth it in order to have the best play experience we can deliver.
Here's a rundown of remaining tasks, with timeline adjustments highlighted:
We have three remaining tasks for February -- playtesting, pledge manager setup, and final layout. Playtesting should wrap up this week. The pledge manager is launching next week, I plan to send out surveys on Feb 9th. Once we have the proof in-office, we will make any final adjustments to layout in the remaining weeks in February. After that, it will just be a matter of getting the print run in and sending out copies to backers! Woo-hoo!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful winter holiday! I'm here with a quick update on the Dungeon Date mini-expansions. The project is currently on track for fulfillment in late February. Here's an overview of remaining tasks and timeline:
I am expecting to send files to the manufacturer in January and receive games for shipment by late February. The pledge manager will open about 30 days in advance so we can get everyone's shipping info and fees collected.
I have the artwork for two more of our boss monsters to share! The Gnome Wizard allows players to restyle one slot in their outfit in the dungeon when they romance, befriend, or slay a gray monster. The mighty Tree Titan guards green monsters and increases the required symbols to encounter them.
